Until you realize the difference between commandments vs. connection you will not understand the wisdom of the infinite creator (GOD). The 613 commandments given to the Jewish nation did not apply to every Jew. Some Jews men some are women, the instructions or commandments for a man are not the same for a woman. The instructions for the Jewish nation are not the same for the non-Jew.
The Jewish word for commandment comes from my root word meaning connection. Simply put if you would like to connect to the creator, you must follow the instructions given by him or her, if you believe God is a human or man or woman. When God created Adam he had not yet split humanity into male or female.
